Genshin Impact 3.5 could start awarding wishes for Archon Quests

According to a new leak, clearing Genshin Impact's main story quest and its Interlude Chapters could yield more impressive rewards than before

Genshin Impact 3.5 Archon Quest Intertwined Fates: Hu Tao

As Genshin Impact’s roster of top-tier characters continues to grow, players of HoYoverse’s gacha-infused ARPG have more choice than ever when it comes to choosing who to try and acquire with their hard-gathered Primogems. Well, it looks like help could be on the way, as a new leak suggests that, from Version 3.5, players will start earning Intertwined Fates from clearing Archon Quests.

As translated and shared to Twitter by ‘77_Hutao’, the anonymous, yet reportedly reputable leak notes that not only will main Archon Quests give wishes, but Interlude Chapters will too. Currently there are 21 Archon Quests and Interlude Chapters in the game. With a new quest coming in 3.5, a total of 22 Intertwined Fates will be claimable from the Tour Guide as soon as the update lands – provided the leak’s right, of course.

There is an assumption that wishes will be awarded retroactively to those who have already cleared, though the leak doesn’t specify this. We can imagine that HoYo would ensure equity among all players.

Considering the quality of characters on the Genshin Impact 3.4 banners, we definitely wish that this had materialised sooner rather than later. After all, how are we supposed to choose between the Alhaitham build, the Hu Tao build, the Xiao build, and the Yelan build?

Nonetheless, should the leak come true, then players can look forward to a healthy influx of fates for when the Genshin Impact 3.5 banners finally arrive.
