The FIFA 23 marketing cycle is now in full swing and with the reveal of this year’s cover stars comes the announcement of the FIFA 23 preorders. Like previous years, FIFA 23 will come in two forms: Standard and Ultimate edition, both of which have their own preorder bonuses.

If you’re already counting down the days until the FIFA 23 release date, then you’re probably eyeing up the Ultimate Edition just for the chance to get your hands on the game early. This edition is the most popular of the FIFA 23 preorders since it contains loads of in-game goodies, like FIFA Points, player picks, and more. The Standard edition costs less, but it comes with much less in-game content.

FIFA 23 Ultimate edition preorders

The Ultimate Edition of any FIFA game is perhaps the most popular among fans, simply because it gives you access to the game three days before Standard users. This gives you a chance to get a head start to check out the FIFA 23 ratings and start building your Ultimate Team.

FIFA 23 Standard Edition preorders

The FIFA 23 Standard Edition is the cheaper option of the two, retailing  but that’s because you only get a handful of bonuses.

Here’s what you get in the standard edition:

  • TOTW 1 player
  • FUT Ambassador loan player pick
  • Career Mode Homegrown talent

This option is best if you’re a casual player who won’t miss out on early access or any of the other FIFA Ultimate Team bonuses.
