FIFA 21 TOTY Sabitzer SBC: Solutions, requirements, and price

One blue Austrian, coming right up as we crafted the perfect solution to the FIFA 21 TOTY Sabitzer SBC.

The FIFA 21 servers have been taken offline, meaning this content is no longer accessible in-game.

While glorious blue Team of the Year cards were usually reserved for the 12 best players of the year, in FIFA 21, fans got a few extra TOTY cards to obtain through objectives or Squad Building Challenges.

These Honourable Mentions TOTY players still boasted the same boosted stats as those who made the actual TOTY lineup, but were slightly less arduous to obtain. Looking back at one of the best sports games, RB Leipzig midfielder Marcel Sabitzer was up for grabs in all his blue glory by completing an SBC, and we cooked up the perfect solution.

With five stats over 84, Sabitzer was a perfect midfield allrounder and that easily slotted into anyone’s Bundesliga squad. While his Austrian nationality meant linking to other top players outside the Bundesliga was hard, it was definitely a wise investment if you were a lover of the German top division at the time. There were three separate puzzles to complete to get Sabitzer, so here’s everything you needed to know to crack them.

It’s worth noting that the FIFA 21 servers are no longer online, meaning this TOTY Sabitzer SBC is not available to complete in-game. Nevertheless, here’s how we solved it back in the day.

Sabitzer TOTY SBC price

The Sabitzer TOTY SBC cost around 550,000 – 650,000 coins to complete when accounting for the players you needed to purchase for the perfect setup.

Sabitzer TOTY SBC solutions

With relatively easy requirements across all three SBCs, you had a fair bit of freedom as to which players you could use. However, we found the most suitable players that you would almost certainly need to complete each one. For general filler players, you couldn’t ever go wrong with the cheapest SBC players.

RB Leipzig

For this, you needed at least one player from Sabitzer’s club, and we suggested using goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi. While he cost around 12,000 coins, he was 85-rated, so was really useful in keeping to the squad rating requirement of 84.

To hit the 75 chemistry, you still needed a few players on full chemistry, and we suggested using Bundesliga players and Premier League players to fill it out as they had a strong population of cheap 83 and 84-rated players.

Top Form

Hopefully you had an In Form card stashed away in your club somewhere for this one. If not though, you could always nab one off the transfer market. We suggested going for one of the following Ligue 1 In Form cards:

  • Ludovic Ajorque (France)
  • Mike Maignan (France)
  • Marcelo (Brazil)

These three were all 84-rated, available for less than 20,000 coins, came from easily linkable countries, and came from a league with a number of cheap high-rated players like Keylor Navas, Memphis Depay, Marco Veratti, and more.

We suggested linking up some of these Ligue 1 players for chemistry, and then filling the rest of the team out with linked-up Bundesliga or Premier League players. Both of these leagues had a good number of players rated 86 or 87, making it an easier time to achieve.

Bundesliga

Chemistry wasn’t too much of an issue for this one but you needed an 87-rated squad. Getting 11 87-rated players could get pricey, so we suggested grabbing a couple of big players like Thibaut Courtois, Karim Benzema, or Casemiro. All were 89-rated and from the same club, helping with both rating and chemistry.

Then you only needed players around the 84-87 mark to hit the squad rating.

You would, however, need one Bundesliga player. Cheap pickups, depending on what rating you were after, included once again Peter Gulacsi (85), Yann Sommer or Lukas Hradecky’s Headliner card (both 86), or Jadon Sancho (87).

There we have it folks, some savvy tips based on how we solved this three-part SBC to get your hands on a delicious TOTY card back in FIFA 21.
