F1 Manager 2023 Sporting Director

The Sporting Director is the headline new feature in this year’s game. It “gives fans the freedom to oversee their chosen F1 team on their own terms”, according to Frontier Developments. This year this feature adds to the game by adding a new driver confidence system, which underpins overtaking maneuvers.

Additional weight considerations also ask players to find the right balance between car performance and reliability, working within the given Cost Cap to give their driver pairing every chance of success. Prospective Team Principals are also another new aspect to define the direction of their team by developing the focus of their current line-up, scouting the next generation of talent from the F2 and F3 championships, and negotiating contracts for the following seasons.

That is what we know about the latest entry in the management series and the F1 Manager 2023 release date. One of our writers, Kyle Wilson, is excited for the series to get its hooks into him once again after last year’s game swallowed up his life (in a good way). If you are excited about even more F1 games, you can take a look at what we know about F1 23 ahead of the F1 23 release date in June.
