New Escape From Tarkov task tests your nerve with Tagilla melee quest

There's another Escape From Tarkov event to tackle and this one tasks players with going toe-to-toe with Tagilla; you need to try and score a melee kill on him

Now, we know Battlestate Games’ Escape From Tarkov is an extraction shooter by definition, but that shouldn’t stop you from picking up one of the game’s melee weapons once in a while. In fact, right now, if you’re looking to make the most of EFT and the rewards on offer ahead of the upcoming Escape From Tarkov wipe, you’re going to need to. There’s a limited-time Escape From Tarkov event active that wants you to whack Tagilla – which, isn’t exactly an easy task.

As you can see in this tweet from Escape From Tarkov content creator ‘Pestily‘, the new Martial Arts Course event in Escape From Tarkov is asking players to score a melee kill on Scav boss Tagilla – who’s known for using a sledgehammer – alongside 15 PMC kills with a melee weapon.

Now, this might sound like a tough task – and it is – but you should be able to land that final melee weapon blow with some careful pre-shooting and a bit of luck. It’s important to note that you don’t need to just use a melee weapon to complete this challenge.

What do you get when you’ve finished this melee-focused challenge? Well, you get +2 Jaeger, Ragman, Skier, Mechanic, Peacekeeper, and Therapist alongside the Red Rebel Ice Pick and Miller Bros. Blades M-2 Tactical Sword. So, it’s not all bad and well worth trying to compelte if you find yourself near Factory.
