As with each new season, a brand new artifact is available in Destiny 2. This time, with no power level increase and a Titan-themed set of armor, gear, and weapons to use, the mods available focus on leeching life, powering up your arc-based weapons, and overall improving Arc subclasses. But, which of the 25 available are the best Destiny 2 Season of the Deep artifact mods?
As we play through the season, we will be adding to this list with additional Mods and unlocks so you can expect a ton of options for where to spend those artifact unlock points in this season of Destiny 2. But, right now, you can get some good options early on.
Best Destiny 2 Season of the Deep artifact mods
Our recommendations for the best Destiny 2 Season of the Deep artifact mods are:
- Anti-Barrier Auto Rifle – Column 1
- Overload Scout Rifle – Column 1
- Authorized Mods: Arc – Column 2
- Technicolor Siphon – Column 2
Our choices for the final three columns will be added once we have had time to unlock them and test them out in Destiny 2’s Salvage mode and other activities within Season of the Deep.
Anti-Barrier Auto Rifle
With the new Destiny 2 Centrifuse weapon, auto rifles definitely have a spot in the meta this season, especially with some of the other mods on offer.
Overload Scout Rifle
Scout Rifles look to be a pretty good option this season so you will want to invest your points here initially.
Authorized Mods: Arc
Meshing with the Centrifuse weapon, the Authorized Mods: Arc allows you to give the Exotic a nice boost, as well as any other weapons you may be running with the element.
Technicolor Siphon
Similarly, Technicolor Siphon is a great option as it will combine the effects of both Arc Siphon and Strand Siphon, two useful buffs.
There you have it! As we said, the full list of the best Destiny 2 Season of the Deep artifact mods we recommend will be out once we have managed to play around with them all.
