Unfortunately, Dead Island 2 is not available on Game Pass. The game is not included in the April 2023 lineup, so the only way to play is to buy one of the many different editions of the game.
Amongst those many editions of Dead Island 2, there are the pricier Deluxe and Gold Editions. These offer some goodies and unlocks, as well as two distinct Dead Island 2 character packs with cosmetics and weapons. While it is definitely disappointing to not see Dead Island 2 hit the service, Deep Silver hasn’t been a huge supporter of Game Pass in the past.
This is the publisher’s big release in the first half of 2023 so we can see why they wouldn’t want to put it on Game Pass. However, it would have been nice, especially with Dead Island 2 multiplayer co-op being available throughout the majority of the experience.
