New MW2 Twitch Drops are on the way and the cosmetic rewards on offer have leaked online ahead of the Call of Duty League’s upcoming Major 5. If you want to make the most of your time tuning into the CDL’s latest esports tournament, you’ll be pleased to know that you can bag yourself some nice rewards – rewards that you can use in both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, of course.
But, what do those rewards look like – and are they worth it? Well, as you will be able to see for yourself down below, reliable Call of Duty leaker ‘ModenasHD‘ has shared some images online of a series of emblems, stickers, calling cards, and a rather bright Kastov-74u weapon blueprint.
If you’re someone who takes full advantage of the best Kastov-74u Modern Warfare 2 loadout or the best Kastov-74u Warzone 2 loadout, then it’s well worth checking these rewards out. However, if you’re someone who prefers to use another one of the best Warzone 2 SMGs, or perhaps another one of the best MW2 assault rifle options, then you might want to take a look for yourself.
Featuring bright colours and cartoonish imagery, these MW2 Twitch Drops rewards should brighten up your gameplay. However, at the moment, there’s no telling if the following rewards are the be-all and end-all of the campaign. As you can see, ModenasHD has said that these “and more” are coming between May 25 and May 28. This is when the CDL Major 5’s Tournament Weekend is set to take place. The Qualifiers kick off on May 5 ahead of this.
While you don’t need an active Twitch Prime or Amazon Prime membership to usually take advantage of Twitch Drops campaigns, it can’t hurt to make the most of your time watching – and, there’s always some fantastic in-game rewards up for grabs on the Prime Gaming page here. With the Warzone 2 Season 3 Reloaded release date on the way, why not refresh your calling card and emblem, right?
If that tickles your fancy, you can grab a free month of Twitch Prime and Amazon Prime on us – just check out the link below:
It’s also worth making sure your Twitch account is linked up to your platform-specific account – which you can do on the “connections” page in Twitch’s account settings. That way you’ll make sure you get any rewards you earn.
MW2 has the potential to be one of the best competitive FPS games out there and Warzone 2, with the right updates, could become one of the best battle royale games avialable. However, there’s work to be done. For example, the Warzone 2 woes continue as more DMZ pay-to-win content drops. Not only this, but the prospect of COD on Game Pass suffered a setback as the CMA rejected Microsoft’s deal. We know that doesn’t directly pertain to gameplay, but Twitch Drops can’t cover up the fact that more needs to be done – even if they are funky.
