The Blue Protocol release date is Wednesday, June 14, 2023 for players in Japan only. For gamers in the West, however, you’ll have to wait a while longer, as Blue Protocol’s release has been delayed to some time in 2024 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Originally, the official trailer revealed the game was coming in 2023, and the description of the video includes the line “play free in the second half of 2023”.

Blue Protocol is more of an action-oriented MMORPG as opposed to one that focuses on hotkeys and specific abilities. You have a choice out of Blue Protocol classes to pick, however, they’re associated with the weapons you equip instead of a single choice that affects your character.
You can increase your class level to unlock and level up skills for each class, allowing you to deal more damage and become stronger, as well as customize your gameplay experience. You can also team up with friends to take on various dungeons across the world.
