To heal in Atomic Heart, press down on the d-pad, providing you have neuromeds in your inventory.

Neuromeds are the healing item in Atomic Heart, which can be found around the game world. If you have this item in your inventory then you’ll be able to heal up in battle. There are various sizes of Neuromeds that you can find with bigger ones healing more when used. Each one takes up a slot in your inventory and unfortunately, they do not stack.
