Is Assassin’s Creed Nexus coming to PSVR 2? The exciting virtual reality game based on the Assassin’s Creed universe will let you play as three iconic Assassin’s Creed characters, Ezio, Conor, and Cassandra. It’ll let you do the standard AC stuff, like using the hidden blade or doing some hardcore parkour, but all in glorious, first-person VR.
Cherry-picking iconic characters from the best Assassin’s Creed games and throwing them into a VR experience means it’s an exciting time to return to the series if you’ve strayed away. But will those with a PS5 be able to enjoy it, and could it become one of the best PSVR 2 games on the platform?
Is Assassin’s Creed Nexus coming to PSVR 2?
An Assassin’s Creed Nexus PSVR 2 port is unlikely, as the game was only announced for the Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest 3 platforms. The game was revealed during the Ubisoft Forward 2023 showcase, which didn’t confirm a PlayStation VR version of Nexus.
While it is a shame that it won’t be a part of the upcoming PSVR 2 games list (which has some excellent alternatives), Assassin’s Creed fans still have an exciting time ahead of them. This includes the Assassin’s Creed Mirage release date, which is right around the corner.
However, if you want to inflict some more FOMO on yourself, or think you might purchase a Meta Quest 3 when it launches, you can watch the Assassin’s Creed Nexus reveal trailer below, which seems to offer an exciting new way to experience the franchise.
Now you know about the (sadly non-existent) Assassin’s Creed Nexus PSVR 2 version. There were plenty of other announcements to look forward to during the Ubisoft Forward 2023 showcase, including the upcoming XDefiant release date and Just Dance 2024 release date.
