Well, the project is set to be co-developed by two of Ubisoft’s biggest studios and it will serve as the base of the future of the series. As such, after only being announced in 2021, development is still in its early days and details are light on Assassin’s Creed Infinity. But a number of leaks and reports have revealed a fair amount about the ambitious game.
Assassin’s Creed Infinity release date speculation
Assassin’s Creed Infinity doesn’t yet have a release date. However, an estimate for when we could see it would be sometime in 2025 or later for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. This is because Assassin’s Creed Infinity is an extremely ambitious project for Ubisoft and only entered the early stages of production in July 2021.
The game is planned to be a platform for years to come and the franchise will build off of the base Infinity release when it does come out. And, given that Ubisoft will want to ensure the game has a successful initial release, we don’t expect it to see it until 2025 or 2026 at the earliest.
Assassin’s Creed Infinity games
Assassin’s Creed Infinity will consist of two games that have currently been announced: Assassin’s Creed Red and Assassin’s Creed Hexe. These will be the initial launch titles.
Assassin’s Creed Red will take you to Feudal Japan and give fans a setting and time period they have wanted for a while. Assassin’s Creed Hexe will then shift over to the mid-century European Witch Trials to deliver a game unlike anything in the series before:

So, now you have heard a lot about Assassin’s Creed Infinity, when can you expect to see gameplay?
Well, you will probably be waiting quite a while to get a good look at the game as it is still in early production. If we were to estimate, we reckon we won’t see Infinity until late 2024 at the earliest.
Ubisoft will want to place a lot of the focus on Mirage in the coming months. So expect info on the game to trickle out ahead of release and as we approach the Assassin’s Creed Mirage release date.
