Assassin's Creed Infinity Release Date: A golden assassin can be seen with images of other assassins in the background

Assassin’s Creed is undoubtedly Ubisoft’s biggest franchise currently. It has been at the forefront of many shifts in the company over the years and the latest example of that is the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Infinity. This platform is set to be the future of the series. But, what do we know ahead of the Assassin’s Creed Infinity release date?

Well, the project is set to be co-developed by two of Ubisoft’s biggest studios and it will serve as the base of the future of the series. As such, after only being announced in 2021, development is still in its early days and details are light.

But a number of leaks and reports have revealed a fair amount about the ambitious game. And, you can find all of that ahead of the eventual Assassin’s Creed Infinity release date.

Assassin’s Creed Infinity release date speculation

Assassin’s Creed Infinity doesn’t yet have a release date. However, an estimate for when we could see it would be sometime in 2025 or even in 2026 or 2027. This is because Assassin’s Creed Infinity is an extremely ambitious project for Ubisoft and was only entering the early stages of production in July 2021.

The game is planned to be a platform for years to come and the franchise will build off of the base Infinity release when it does come out. And, given that Ubisoft will want to ensure the game has a successful initial release, we don’t expect it to see it until 2025 at the earliest, but that is speculation for now.

We may hear more about Assassin’s Creed Infinity at Ubisoft Forward this month. But, most of the focus will be on the next game ahead of the Assassin’s Creed Mirage release date.

Assassin’s Creed Infinity games

Assassin’s Creed Infinity will consist of two games that have currently been announced. These will the initial launch titles.

Assassin’s Creed Red will take you to Fuedal Japan and give fans a setting and time period they have wanted for a while. Assassin’s Creed Hexe will then shift over to the mid-century European Witch Trials to deliver a game unlike anything in the series before:

When will we see Assassin’s Creed Infinity gameplay

So, now you have heard a lot about Assassin’s Creed Infinity, when can you expect to see gameplay?

Well, you will probably be waiting quite a while to get a good look at the game as it is still in early production. If we were to estimate, we reckon we won’t see Infinity until 2024.

Ubisoft will want to place a lot of the focus on Mirage for the coming months and years until the game has had its time in the sun.

However, Ubisoft will reveal the “future of Assassin’s Creed” at its Ubisoft Forward event on September 10. So, at the show, we could get a very brief update about the game or maybe even a CGI teaser. But, we think this isn’t likely.

So there you have it, everything we know about Ubisoft’s next big ambitious Assassin’s Creed project. But, while you wait for the Assassin’s Creed Infinity release date, why not enter the Animus and peruse through why we think the Basim-led Assassin’s Creed Mirage is an essential addition to the franchise?
