To solve the windmill puzzle in A Plague Tale Requiem, all you need to do is stop windmills I and II from turning and leave windmills III and IV turning. This can be done by going inside all of the windmills and pushing the level in to stop the windmill or pulling it out to start it.
Windmill I can be entered through the front door, while windmill II can easily have the boxes pulled down, allowing you to climb up into it. Windmill III requires you to let Hugo squeeze through the gap to open the door and Windmill IV can be opened by squeezing beneath the cart and shooting the lock on the door using the open window.
Once windmills I and II are left off and windmills III and IV are running, you will hear a large shifting beneath your feet. You can then go down the slope behind the windmills and take the ladder down to the crypt. Follow the path and at the end, you can unlock the Bracer and secret armour for Amicia.
The A Plague Tale Requiem windmill puzzle is the only one like it in the game with other tasks being simple stall challenges.
