To revive your allies in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, you need to switch to your healer and head towards the downed enemy and hold the A button. From here, you can then revive them and bring them back into the battle, healing them as well.

While you are reviving, if you are hit with an attack or stopped in some other way, the action will be cancelled and you will need to repeat the above to be able to revive that ally.

You can switch to your healer by holding down ZL and then cycling between your characters with L or R. From there you can choose whoever you have given the healer class to or, Euine, who is a healer by default if you are early in the game.
