Anime fans can play these Dragon Ball games free with Xbox right now

If you want to play some Dragon Ball games over the weekend, Xbox Game Pass has you covered with its latest Free Play Days promotion.

Are you an Xbox player who likes anime series such as Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super? Well, you might just be in for a very fun weekend. Microsoft’s latest Xbox Free Play Days promotion sees three Dragon Ball games available to play – for free, as the name suggests – for the next couple of days. If you’ve been on the fence about buying a new Dragon Ball game, this really is a good time to check some of the best ones them out.

When you look at all the Xbox Game Pass games available at the moment, there’s no Dragon Ball representation at all. Sure, the best Xbox Game Pass games are still worth playing, but those of you hoping to drop into the universe of one of the best anime series of all time are out of luck. Well, usually you’re out of luck. For the next handful of days, anyone with an active Xbox Game Pass Core (the thing that replaced Xbox Live Gold a little while ago) or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription will be able to play three of the best Dragon Ball games for free.

As this Xbox Wire article explains, from now until November 5 at 11:59 PST – which works out to be 02:59 EST / 07:59 GMT on November 6 – anyone with Xbox Game Pass access on their Xbox console will be able to play Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Dragon Ball FighterZ, and Dragon Ball The Breakers without actually needing to purchase it. These games will also be on sale for a limited-time during and after the Free Play Days promotion is over, should you want to keep playing after this period.

All you need to do to access this offer is boot up your Xbox console (and sign into an account with Xbox Game Pass, of course), and then head to the Store and search for each of the aforementioned games. You may see a pop-up advertising the Free Play Days deal, but don’t worry if you don’t; everything should automatically apply when you search for each game individually and let you download it for free without any hassle.

And, of course, some Dragon Ball FighterZ gameplay. It might not be the first game you think of when you think of the best fighting games of all time, but it’s certainly a lot of fun.

With that in mind, though, you should consider picking up one of the best Xbox expansion cards if you haven’t already. Free Play Days are semi-regular offerings and the selection of Xbox Game Pass Core games – if that’s the level of subscription you have – are all worth giving a go.

So, you might find your internal storage space is swallowed up a lot sooner than you thought it would. That means you won’t be able to take advantage of offers like the Free Play Days.

Oh, and those of you PlayStation players out there will find that Dragon Ball The Breakers is one of the free PS Plus November 2023 games you can claim from Tuesday, November 2023. So, you’re not exactly missing out.
