With the promise of some diverse combat and some epic battles against some big old beasties, The Wild Hearts release time will be hotly anticipated by fans of series like Monster Hunter. Well, you don’t have long to wait before this new EA-published monster-slaying adventure fully drops – and some of you reading this will be able to try the game out right now.
It’s worth noting that the official full release of Wild Hearts isn’t going to be straight forward, and will vary depending on your region and platform of choice.
For console players on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, the Wild Hearts release time is set for midnight in your local region on February 17. That’s according to this tweet from the official Wild Hearts account. This means that should you not want to wait for the painfully slow rotation of the earth, the ‘New Zealand method’ could work for getting into the full game at the earliest possible moment.
For PC players, there is one set release time for Wild Hearts, and that’s 7am PT/ 10am ET/ 3pm GMT on February 17.
While that’s when you can play the full game on the official Wild Hearts release date, some players will be able to play some of it even earlier thanks to a 10-hour window of Wild Hearts early access.
If you’re an EA Play member or you have an Xbox Game Pass subscription (which has the benefits of EA Play rolled into it) you can get access to this trial. The Wild Hearts trial release time is technically set for 7am PT/ 10am ET/ 3pm BST on February 13, however at the time of writing, some players are currently playing the trial right now, so it’s worth checking your console to see if you can hop in early with EA Play or Game Pass.
While it is releasing in a bit of a crowded time, Wild Hearts could go down a storm with fans of series like Monster Hunter or games with intricate and deep combat like Elden Ring. Ahead of release, we’ve seen some impressive Wild Hearts monsters – or Kemono, as they’re called in the game – which should make for some epic battles.
