Riot Games has announced that Valorant’s new agent, who has been heavily-teased to be Deadeye, has been delayed, with the suave shooter set to release two weeks after Episode 3, Act 3 begins on November 2.
The announcement came from character designer John ‘RiotMEMEMEMEME’ Goscicki, who says that the delay is necessary as “they were not at the quality bar you’ve come to expect from us.” The developer points towards the clarity of the agent’s “visual cues” as a major sticking point. Because of this, it now looks like Deadeye will arrive on or around November 16 with Valorant patch 3.10. While this may come as a disappointment to some fans, the article does at least confirm that Deadeye will be officially revealed tomorrow, October 29, at 8:00 AM PT / 4:00 PM BST.
With KAY/O being released all the way back at the start of Valorant Episode 3, Act 1, it has been quite some time since we’ve had a new agent to master.
Deadeye was actually teased shortly before Episode 3, Act 1 dropped, leading many to initially believe he would arrive in time for Act 2. However, this wasn’t the case, with official teasers only recently starting to do the rounds.

While we are going to have to wait a little longer for Deadeye to appear, it looks like Riot is doing everything it can to ensure our patience is rewarded with a polished new Sentinel.
