Survival game Valheim is coming to Xbox consoles and Xbox Game Pass next spring, Microsoft has confirmed during part two of its Xbox and Bethesda Showcase. The game has been a smash for PC players on Steam, and it’ll soon be branching out and becoming available to Game Pass’ millions of subscribers.
We’re already blessed with some great survival games on Game Pass, such as ARK Survival Evolved and Subnautica, and Valheim is certainly worthy of joining such prestigious company. While you’ll have to wait until Spring 2023 for it to come to the Xbox Series XS, Xbox One, and Xbox Game Pass, PC players will be thrilled to learn that it’ll be coming to PC Game Pass much sooner. It’ll hit the service in fall 2022.
During the initial showcase on Sunday, players did spot Valheim in a graphic that flashed up on screen, despite it not getting a trailer, so some kind of Game Pass news was expected.
Despite being developed by a tiny group of developers, Valheim has won over the survival game community with its charming visuals, procedurally generated worlds, and addictive gameplay.
