If you are playing Respawn’s latest game you may be wondering if there is a Star Wars Jedi Survivor new game plus mode waiting for you at the end of your playthrough. After all, Jedi Fallen Order did not launch with one so there is a reasonable chance you can expect the same here.
However, as we detail in our Star Wars Jedi Survivor review, the sequel is far bigger in scope and more refined, with more features than the first game ever had. So, with that, and a longer Star Wars Jedi Survivor length with a deeper story, you could expect Respawn to take the time and put this mode into Star Wars Jedi Survivor.
Star Wars Jedi Survivor explained
Star Wars Jedi Survivor does have a new game plus mode that unlocks after you finish the story. In new game plus, all your cosmetic items, skill points, and stances will carry over allowing you to start the game again, but with everything you have already unlocked.
Upon unlocking new game plus and beginning it, you get some new unlocks. These come in the form of unique and fun Perks. Purity grants a big increase in weapon damage for you and your foes, while Trendsetter randomises your cosmetics upon death. Finally, Warrior will replace standard enemies with more difficult combat encounters.
Plus, you can get two more Star Wars Jedi Survivor lightsaber colours, Red and Party by starting a game in New Game Plus.
As you can see, the mode is pretty robust and it’s great to see Star Wars Jedi Survivor new game plus here at launch, unlike the first game where it needed to be added via an update. This will really help with replayability and also provide a nice fun challenge, especially if you use the Warrior Perk.
