Star Wars Jedi Survivor cameo is an easter egg you don’t want to miss

Star Wars Jedi Survivor has plenty of easter eggs and secrets to find on PS5 or Xbox, but this Star Wars cameo is one that you probably didn't expect.

Cal Kestis with a Hologram message in Star Wars Jedi Survivor

Throughout your time with Star Wars Jedi Survivor you’ll meet some very special characters, new and familiar to the LucasFilm galaxy. Cal Kestis often tangles with the Empire’s forces, but some characters deserve a little more time in the limelight. Respawn Entertainment includes this nifty Star Wars easter egg in the game, but it probably isn’t the character you were hoping to see the most in Jedi Survivor’s story.

Once you’ve encountered a few of the many Star Wars Jedi Survivor characters, you’ll end up meeting Caij Vanda. Found in Rambler’s Reach on Koboh, speaking to her will eventually lead to the unlocking of the Star Wars Jedi Survivor bounty missions. Once you’ve completed them, Caij will try to pull a fast one on Cal Kestis, betraying him after all his hard work. But Caij isn’t the only one looking for a bounty in the galaxy, as legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett turns up to fulfil his own contract.

The interaction, which you can view below courtesy of YouTuber ‘BabyZone’, depicts an intense Sergio Leone-style Western standoff as the three characters attempt to settle their differences. However, as Star Wars fans will know, there are no compromises when it comes to Boba Fett. On this occasion, though, Cal and Boba part ways amicably as Caij is taken away in Boba’s iconic Firespray-31 class patrol ship, Slave 1.

Boba Fett has had a resurgence in recent years, following his appearances in the Star Wars TV show The Mandalorian and the spin-off show The Book of Boba Fett. If you’ve seen both of those, you might be wondering when The Book of Boba Fett season two release date is. There’s some time before Boba Fett makes his next appearance on Disney+, leaving plenty of time to master all of the Star Wars Jedi Survivor stances.

Surely you’re going to channel your inner Kylo Ren with the Crossguard stance, right? It’s good news for you too if you haven’t picked up the game yet either. There’s an ongoing Star Wars Jedi Survivor sale to leap onto, so don’t hesitate to grab the game at a bargain price. With all the Star Wars Jedi Survivor customisation options available, you’ll be crafting the ultimate Jedi Knight in no time at all.
