Splatoon 3 is here to give us our Inkling action again, so grab your Pro Controllers because you’re going to need them (and use gyro aiming). A fresh new look is being given to the series, and along with that comes updated features, game modes, and other goodies to keep us splatting our opponents and slinging more paint (ink) than a decorator into the wee hours of the morning. Speaking of painting levels, you’ll need something that dispenses ink to do it, so we’ve compiled a list of all the Splatoon 3 best weapons.
Whether its close range powerhouses, or all-around reliable weapons, this list will cover the ones you should be grabbing and the ones you should spend you Sheldon Licenses on. Read on below to find out recommendations for the Splatoon 3 best weapons to use to dominate the competition.
Splatoon 3 best weapons
The best weapons in Splatoon 3 are as follows:
N-Zap ’85 – best Shooter
The NZAP ’85 is our choice for the best shooter in the game early-on as while it is modelled off a classic light gun, it packs far more than a light punch. With decent range, and a steady stream of ink at your disposal, it also comes with high firepower that can overwhelm and catch your enemies off guard.
Attached to this loadout, you can also use Suction Bombs which produce a large explosion of ink, and the Tacticooler which will buff your teammates and works great during Splatfests and bigger events.
Range Blaster – best Blaster
When it comes to Blasters they are personally some of our favourite weapons as they pack a lot of power and can really provide some great consistent coverage with their Ink shots. But the Range Blaster is one of the best mid-level weapons as it ups the impact and range offered with the weapon type.
Suction Bombs are here as well and just as reliable as always, while the Wave Breaker will allow you light enemies up and surprise them with a short from the Blaster. Or, it can be used as a great team tool to help your teammates discover where enemies are swimming in the ink.
Flingza Roller – Best Roller
If you want a melee focused weapon and something that can help with coverage then a Roller sounds like what you should be using. And, the Flingza Roller is our choice when it comes to the best weapon in this category as it has good inking speed, with fast handling and a decent range.
Extra equipment is also strong with the Ink Mine that can be used to surprise enemies and the Tenta Missiles which will send down a powerful bombardment of rockets when used.
Glooga Dualies – Best Dualies
The Glooga Dualies takes the spot for our best early pick when it comes to Dualies. With range, damage, and the high mobility offered with the weapon type, it can be a great weapon to take into Turf War.
The Splash Wall isn’t the best side weapon in the game, but it does offer a bit of protection when you need it. However, the Booyah Bomb is another really powerful ultimate attack.
Bamboozler 14 Mk 1 – best Charger
Chargers are an extremely high-skill weapon type in Splatoon 3, but the Bamboozler is the best available right now. Complete with a fairly quick charge speed, high mobility, and range, it can be great if you want to stay further away from the action.
The support Autobomb as well is complimentary allowing you to throw it out to finish off opponents around a corner and the Killer Wail 5.1 is one of the most powerful tools in a fight as it can track through walls and decimate your opponents.
We are still trying out the various weapons in the game and getting to grips with some of the more advanced types. So, this guide will be updated in the days after launch. And, as new weapons get added we will add any strong contender here as well.
Those are all of the Splatoon 3 best weapons, but if you’re ink-obsessed and don’t want to leave Inkopolis, then you can read our Splatoon 3 hairstyles guide to see all the best hair-dos to outfit your squid-kid with.
