Slime Rancher 2 is full of new wiggly and wobbly creatures for you to find and add to your collection as you explore the colourful isle, Rainbow Island. But, in addition to more than 20 Slimes returning from the original game, there are a number of new slimes in Slime Rancher 2.

Whether it is the brand new starter Cotton Slime, or the fearsome and freaky Angler Slimes and Batty Slimes, there are a lot of new additions to the game, which are only set to grow as more are added throughout early access.

Slime Rancher 2 new slimes
There are currently five new slimes in Slime Rancher 2:
Cotton Slime
Cotton Slimes are known for wiggling in a similar fashion to the tabby slimes, hopping in whatever direction they wish to go in. It is a veggie-eater and a part of the simpler, starter slimes in Slime Rancher 2.
Flutter Slime
The Flutter Slime is based on a butterfly and is able to fly or hover unsteadily with its wings.
Angler Slime
The Angler Slime is based on an angler fish and is designed to survive by luring and ambushing prey.
Batty Slime
The Batty Slime is based on well, a bat. Flying around at nighttime, this slime is known for hiding out.
Ringtail Slime
The Ringtail Slime is based on a small woodland animal and can be found skulking about the forest.
