Sifu is a game all about constant blistering action. The kind of action that’ll leave your eyes sore from staring and your hands sore from playing. While you’re safe when in your home, when in each level, the only time you’ll ever have a moment of peace is when you die, or when you find one of the Sifu shrine locations.
The Sifu Shrines are small jade dragons dotted around each of the game’s five levels, and each one allows you to pick one of nine different rewards to give your character a little bit of a boost. Not only that, but this is also the only way you can buy skills without dying in each of the levels too, so knowing where the Sifu Shrine locations are is a huge boon when you’re fighting through on your way to quench your thirst for revenge.
Thankfully for you, we’ve got the details on each of the Sifu shrine locations in each of the levels. So, keep this one open as you punch, kick, and throw your way through each area to make sure you don’t miss any of the Sifu Shrines.
Sifu Shrine Locations
There are three shrines within each of the five levels in Sifu:
- The Squats Shrine locations
- The Club Shrine locations
- The Museum Shrine locations
- The Tower Shrine locations
- The Sanctuary Shrine locations
The Squats Shrine locations
The first level you’ll be facing is The Squats. This run-down area is at the behest of a drug lord, and that happens to be the person you’re hunting down. On your way through the level, your first big fight will take place side-on in a corridor. The first shrine can be found shortly after this on the rooftop, inside a small room on the right.
The second Sifu Shrine in The Squats is found just before a locked door, in a room with a heavily tattooed enemy in an office of sorts. Fight off the enemies in the room and then proceed to the back of it, where you’ll see the shrine on the centre of the long cabinet there.
The third shrine is found just after a room that’s filled with hanging plants and has one big enemy and two standard ones. After beating them, head out the door into the alley and you’ll be able to see the shrine on your right as you walk through.
Unlike most of the other levels, this one also has a shrine on the path you unlock by opening up the shortcut. This will be the first one you come across if you leave the first building via the door on the bottom level, which you can only do if you’ve found the keys later on in the level. You’ll see this shrine on a small loading bay of sorts after you’ve fought off a group of three enemies.
The Club Shrine locations
The Club is the second location in Sifu, and is run by someone who uses it to weed out fighters for a challenge. The first Shrine in The Club can be found after clearing out the large disco room. You’ll then have to fight off a mini-boss who descends from next to a DJ. Go back to the dance floor under the DJ after beating her and you’ll see the shrine on the right-hand side.
The second shrine can be found in a room that requires a keycard to enter. The room is filled with people training, but ones who won’t automatically aggro to you. Simply turn left as soon as you enter this room and you’ll see the shrine tucked away in a corner next to a fighter doing some stretches.
The final shrine is found after you’ve fought your way through the trials. You’ll come into a room with two people fighting, one of whom will leave. You’ll then have to beat up the two guardians in there before going into the next room, where the shrine sits on the right-hand side.
The Museum Shrine locations
The Museum is one of the coolest levels in the game, and features some genuinely awesome pieces of artwork, along with some excellent set-pieces. In this level that’s all about style, it’s easy to miss the first shrine. You’ll eventually come to a room with multiple enemies and a giant swinging ink brush in the centre. Beat all of the enemies, then check behind the screen wall on the left-hand side of the room to find the shrine.
The second shrine is to your left once you get to the top of the building, just before the part where you have to jump over the barrier after following the yellow arrow on the floor. You’ll see it on your right next to the barrier about halfway around this quarter-circle.
The final shrine comes after you’ve fought your way through all of the set pieces. You’ll emerge from the various visages into an icy area that’s incredibly stark comparatively. You’ll see the shrine on your left sitting atop a little snow ledge.
The Tower shrine locations
The Tower is home to a CEO. We’re not sure you need any more reason to beat them up. You can find the first shrine after a room that has a small projector in it. You’ll go down some stairs where you can see lifts through the glass wall and you’ll hear people talking about you maybe being on the stairwell. Go down, exit the stairwell, and you’ll find the shrine at the end of this corridor.
The second shrine is below the tower. After a few fights as you work your way further underground, you’ll find it in a room where a lone female warrior is monologuing about conspiracies. You can find the shrine at the back of the room to the left of a lantern once you’ve won the fight.
The final shrine is close to the deepest point of this level. After spending a while going down stairs and fighting through individual rooms, you’ll come to an area where you have to keep dropping down. Just before the long plunge you have to make, you’ll see the final shrine in its own little cubby to your right.
The Sanctuary Shrine locations
The Sanctuary is the final area, and is a chill little meditative resort that starts off with someone telling you everyone is welcome as they’re putting up their guard. You’ll have to fight Yang here, but before that, you’ll need to make it through the level. The first Shrine is in a restaurant which you can find by turning left after getting through the reception area. You’ll have to beat everyone up before you can access it, but you should be able to see it to the left of the kitchen.
The second Shrine can be found after fighting through the treatment area. You’ll enter a small room with two female warriors you have to beat up, and then open a door and come into a small garden area. Look to your right and you’ll see the shrine at the end of a small walkway.
Finally, the last Sifu shrine location is just before your final battle. You’ll find this after fighting through three battles as you make your way up some stairs, with the last battle there being against someone wielding a staff. Beat them up then go inside, and you’ll see the shrine to your left a little way into the room.
So there you have it, all of the Sifu Shrine locations in one place. Now you can get the best Sifu skills and work your way to revenge.
