It’s almost time to dive into the Saints Row reboot, with the beginning of your bombastic journey through Santo Ileso just around the corner. It has now been revealed exactly when players will be able to get their hands on the game with the announcement of the Saints Row release time.
While we already knew that the Saints Row release date would be on August 23, the exact time for when the game would be available to download, install, and most importantly play was unknown. However, on the open-world game’s official Twitter account, it has been confirmed that the Saints Row release time will be at midnight on August 23 in your region – that means there will be a gradual rollout, starting – as is usually the case with these kinds of releases – with you lucky folks in Oceania and then working its way across each time zone from east to west.
However, players on most platforms will be able to pre-load the game so it’s ready for you when the clock strikes 12. Those looking to play Saints Row on Xbox consoles can head to the store right now and download the game ahead of release, while PlayStation players will be able to do it 48 hours before the release time on August 21.
Sadly for PC players, some technical issues have prevented preloading through the Epic Games Store – however, Saints Row’s PC specs have been revealed and you can check them out right here.
So as the clock ticks ever closer to the Saints Row release time, we’ll soon be able to see if Volition has managed to refine and improve the formula of this iconic series while still keeping the madness it’s renowned for.
