The latest Saints Row game is here and we’re completely onboard for its crazy gangland gameplay and story. An open-world map full of mayhem? We’re in. But there’s a lot of activities you can do in the world of Santo Illeso, including flying around in a wingsuit, which might lead you to ponder how to get the wingsuit in Saints Row.
How to get the wingsuit in Saints Row might sound like a simple proposition, but it is more complicated than it sounds. You can only use it in specific circumstances, and it isn’t explained very well in-game.
Below, we’ve detailed everything you need to know about obtaining the ability to fly around in the wingsuit and how to use it when you do.
Saints Row how to get the wingsuit and use it
You get access to the wingsuit in Saints Row as soon as you have completed the introductory mission. Once this has been completed, you will automatically have the wingsuit in your inventory. However, it is not apparent how to use the wingsuit because you are never really put into a position where you need to use it in the main story.
The wingsuit will automatically deploy itself when it is needed and there are three ways in which to use the wingsuit. Firstly, the wingsuit will deploy when you jump from the roof of a car or from an ejector seat. Secondly, the wingsuit will deploy when you leap from a great height, like a helicopter or building. Lastly, you can make the wingsuit open by using one of the Weather Stations and launching yourself high up into the air.
Once in the air in a wingsuit, you can just land, use the attack button to kick someone and land on your own two feet, or land on the roof of a car and ride it in true action movie style. You can even bounce off people to maintain momentum after you unlock it in the story.
That’s everything you need to know about how to get the wingsuit and use it in Saints Row.
