Roller Champions battle pass overview and how it works

Curious to know about everything related to Roller Champions' battle pass? Here is the rundown of how it works so you can begin competing

Roller Champions Battle Pass Explained: Three skaters can be seen celebrating in an arena.

Roller Champions is Ubisoft’s free-to-play arena sports game where two teams of players aim to be the first to score the most points while racing around a roller derby track. While competing, you will be able to earn a variety of rewards from Lootballs, as well as through the Roller Champions battle pass.

The Roller Champions battle pass will be the most sure-fire way of earning exciting rewards, where as the randomised Lootballs leave your reward up to chance. The battle pass will reset with each new season offering tiers of rewards available in both a free and premium track. These rewards include cosmetics, the in-game currency ‘Wheels’ and more.

However, unlike most games with battle passes and seasons the tracks of rewards are significantly shorter which should mean that grinding through the Roller Champions battle pass isn’t a huge time sink.

Roller Champions Battle Pass Explained

Roller Champions’ Battle Pass includes a free and premium track of rewards and can be purchased for 500 Wheels, which equates to about $4.99/£3.99.

You can also purchase the Roller Pass plus 10 tiers of the pass for 1500 Wheels, which works out to about $14.99/£11.99.

The free track of battle pass rewards include around 11 rewards each season with only a few of those being cosmetics. The vast majority are either Lootballs or Wheels.

However, the premium track includes a reward for all thirty tiers and includes Legendary rarities as well as more common items. Almost all of these tier rewards are cosmetics, with only a few being taken up by Wheels. When the premium track and free track rewards are combined, you get 500 Wheels a season which allows you to purchase the next season’s battle pass.

The rewards in the battle pass can’t be re-earned elsewhere in the game so it is the only place you can get your hands on them. On top of that, you won’t be able to work through a battle pass after a season has ended, so you will only have a limited time to earn all the rewards.
