How to solve the Water Harp puzzle in Remnant 2
To solve the Water Harp puzzle on Yaesha in Remnant 2, you need to align the pegs on the music box so they replicate the tune being played in the distance.
The exact peg order is:
- Row 1: Peg 5
- Row 2: Skip
- Row 3: Peg 4
- Row 4: Skip
- Row 5: Peg 3
- Row 6: Peg 4
- Row 7: Peg 1
- Row 8: Skip
The solution can be found in a notebook in the room with the Lost Temple World Stone.

Activate the gear device
At The Forbidden Grove, the first order of business is to activate the gear device. Several doors near The Lost Temple World Stone are locked from the other side, so you have to take the longer route. Here’s what you need to do:
- Climb up the steps off to the side to reach the Faithless Thicket overworld area.
- Continue onward and clear the Twisted Chantry dungeon.
- You’ll end up in the Dappled Glade, which has a fairly special NPC encounter that we won’t spoil here.
- Follow the pathway until you see the other doorway that leads back to the Forbidden Grove.
- You’ll find yourself on the opposite side of the temple, where you’ll be able to activate the gear device. Doing so powers up the puzzle wheel itself, allowing you to solve it.
Read the puzzle clue
There’s a good chance that you’ve read the notebook we mentioned above. If you haven’t yet, it’s in the room with The Lost Temple World Stone. It talks of the Ravager, a boss from the previous game, which could be lulled to sleep. The notes also have a diagram showing symbols akin to notes, as well as lines.
Activating the pegs
Initially, we mistakenly thought that the vertical lines referred to raised pegs, but that was not the case. After a few tries, we realized the following:
- There are five symbols/notes, with one peg for each. These pegs could be raised or lowered. There are also eight rows for this entire puzzle wheel.
- Each drawn symbol means that the note should be played. Therefore, you need a raised peg in that row corresponding to that note.
- A long horizontal line means there’s an interval between that note and the next (such as no raised pegs in the following row).
- Notes that are close together imply that their respective pegs are raised in consecutive rows.
As mentioned, follow this order and you will have activated the puzzle:
- Row 1: Peg 5
- Row 2: Skip
- Row 3: Peg 4
- Row 4: Skip
- Row 5: Peg 3
- Row 6: Peg 4
- Row 7: Peg 1
- Row 8: Skip
