PS Now has been discontinued and replaced with a tiered PS Plus structure, meaning this subscription and its content is no longer accessible.

PS Now’s November 2021 free games collection saw a number of games joining the streaming service alongside a beloved Final Fantasy title. The titles helped grow an ever-expanding library of games across the PS4, PS3, and PS2 generations, available to play on PS5, PS4, PC, and via streaming on your mobile phone.

Despite some of the quality games added to the subscription over the years, PlayStation Now was discontinued and replaced with the expansion of PlayStation Plus to offer additional tiers around May–to June 2022. Check out the PS Plus free games and the PS Plus Extra and Premium games list to learn more.

PS Now November 2021 free games

The November 2021 PS Now games were as follows:

  • Celeste
  • Final Fantasy IX
  • Mafia Definitive Edition (Available until February 28, 2021)
  • Totally Reliable Delivery Service

These free games were available from Tuesday, November 2, 2021.

These were strong additions all-round. Celeste and Totally Reliable Delivery Service are great indie titles that you should have played through when they were available – and even now, though you obviously can’t get them through PS Now.

On the other hand, Final Fantasy IX and Mafia Definitive Edition are epic adventures – one… fantasy, and one all about being part of the mafia.

PS Now November 2021 leaving games

The following games left PS Now on Monday, November 1, 2021:

  • NieR Automata
  • Red Dead Redemption 2

These were some big games to leave the service, particularly Red Dead Redemption 2. While the additions were strong and more numerous than the games leaving the service, it was a heavy hit – especially if you hadn’t finished playing these massive games before they left.

When it was still available, PS Now had hundreds of games for you to download onto your PS4 and PS5, alongside the ability to stream them. Thankfully, these elements are now incorporated into the PS Plus subscription instead.

You can see the full list of PS Now games, including games from the PS2, PS3, and PS4 era, that were available before the service was discontinued.

PS Now was also available on your PC, allowing you to play a number of PS4 exclusives on your PC, without needing a PlayStation console in your house.

That was the PlayStation Now November 2021 lineup of free games, which offered quite a strong collection – though also two big leavers. If you’re hungry for more PlayStation goodness, check out the best PS5 games out there.
