We expect Professor Layton and The New World of Steam to release in early to mid-2024, considering the teaser from early 2023 didn’t give a release window. As such, we expect to hear more details about the game in late 2023.
The lack of information during the initial reveal and only a brief teaser following that means to us it seems pretty clear that we will be waiting a little while to revisit Layton’s beloved puzzle adventures.
Professor Layton and The New World of Steam story
Set one year after Professor Layton and the Unwound Future, The New World of Steam takes players to a brand new location, Steam Bison, America. The city has far outpassed London thanks to advanced steam engines and Luke invites Layton to the city after spending time apart.
