Both Pokémon Scarlet The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero – The Teal Mask and The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero – The Indigo Disk have been revealed and they are offering two parts of an expansion for you to enjoy on top of the existing game. But when can you expect to see more of them and the Pokémon Scarlet DLC release date?

The Pokémon Scarlet DLC release date is:

  • Wednesday, September 13, 2023 – Pokémon Scarlet The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero – The Teal Mask
  • Winter 2023  – Pokémon Scarlet The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero – The Indigo Disk

The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero story will add more on top of the existing story in its two parts, The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk which will arrive after one another. You can expect new locations, Pokémon, and a lot more.

Pokémon Scarlet DLC story

Pokémon Scarlet The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero – The Teal Mask’s story will take you to the island of Kitakami, home of The Loyal Three, three Pokémon who are hailed as heroes for stopping an evil ogre. You’ll also be introduced to two siblings from Blueberry Academy, and take part in fun with the Festival of Masks.

As for Pokémon Scarlet The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero – The Indigo Disk, you’ll be an exchange student at the Blueberry Academy, a mostly underwater school with an artificial terrarium with four distinct regions. You’ll also take part in the BB League, which is a student-created battling league with its own ranking.

Pokémon Scarlet DLC gameplay

 

Firstly, The Teal Mask is a more exploration-focused DLC, which will see you explore the island of Kitakami, while also helping a budding photographer to capture photos of a special Pokémon and take part in a minigame called Ogre Oustin’ which will reward you with Mochi to strengthen your party.

As for The Indigo Disk, this DLC will see you take part in the student league, also known as the BB League, to prove you are the very best. There are also plenty of trials across the artificial regions of Blueberry Academy, as well as The League Club, which offers a clubhouse that you can decorate and invite Paldean trainers to learn more about them.

The two legendaries for this DLC are Ogerpon and Terrapagos, who will appear in The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk respectively.
