Aside from an initial flurry of limited-use codes during the launch week of the game, there haven’t been all that many locker codes released for NBA 2K24. However, things are starting to change now that the holidays have arrived and the new NBA season has fully kicked off.
2K is currently running its 25 Days of 2K promotion throughout December, and new codes are starting to appear more frequently as part of this festive promo.

As you can see, 2K tried something a little different at the start of NBA 2K24 with its locker codes, throwing out limited-use codes that could only be claimed by a certain number of players that were quickest off the mark. There were concerns that this would become the new norm for locker codes. However, recent locker codes have gone back to being available to all players, but for a limited time window, so that concern has been alleviated.
When new codes do become available, there’s absolutely no harm in redeeming them, as they are free to claim and could be beneficial for your MyCareer or MyTeam experience, depending on how many hours you plan to sink in the game. How to redeem locker codes in NBA 2K24
To redeem locker codes in NBA 2K24 you need to:
- Enter the MyTeam menu
- Choose the Community Hub from the main menu
- Choose ‘enter locker code’
- Enter your locker code
Overall, the process is pretty easy to redeem either your rewards or VC. Like previous games the locker codes are super easy to redeem, so be sure to keep an eye out for locker codes when you can.
If a code fails to properly redeem, check three things. First, make sure that you input it correctly. Second, make sure it’s not a limited-use code – NBA 2K24’s first batch of locker codes was only redeemable by the fastest 250 people, so it could be that you were too slow.
