Don't wait until Mortal Kombat 1 to get your fighting game fix. This Mortal Kombat 11 sale on PS5 and Xbox will get you into the NetherRealm Studios world.

Mortal Kombat 11 sale

In a year where Tekken 8 and Street Fighter 6 are going after the best fighting games spotlight, NetherRealm Studios is out to serve up a fatal blow with Mortal Kombat 1. However, while we’ve got some time to train up before the Mortal Kombat 1 release date approaches, that doesn’t mean you can’t get acquainted with all of the Mortal Kombat 1 characters returning for battle. This Mortal Kombat 11 sale isn’t to be missed, whether you’re playing on PS5 or Xbox.

Xbox fans have two options on their hands for Mortal Kombat 11, depending on whether they want to spend a few extra hard-earned coins for additional NetherRealm Studios goodies. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate Edition includes heaps of content, such as the Aftermath expansion DLC and both Kombat packs.

These extra packs give players access to new fighters, which include John Rambo, The Terminator, and Robocop – taking the Mortal Kombat 11 roster up to a whopping 37 characters. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate Edition is currently coming in at $8.99 / £12.49 on the Microsoft Store, which is a bonafide steal for this version of the game that typically retails for $59.99 / £49.99.

But it gets better for you Xbox owners out there. Those of you that already have an Xbox Game Pass subscription don’t even need to purchase the game. Instead, you can get access to the standard edition of Mortal Kombat 11 via your Xbox Game Pass subscription, as long as you’ve renewed it that is.

Mortal Kombat fanatics residing on PS4 and PS5 consoles can grab themselves a brilliant bargain too. For a limited time, Mortal Kombat 11 Standard Edition is currently $4.99 / £9.99 on the PlayStation Store. Unfortunately, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate Edition isn’t experiencing any worthwhile discounts with the Sony-helmed storefront, but that’s still plenty of bang for your buck with the Standard Edition.
