Accessibility is always a great inclusion to any game for those who need it, but for those who don’t, you may be wanting to find out how to turn off the narrator in Minecraft Legends. Also known as text-to-speech, this voiceover helps provide players get through menus in-game, but can be a nuisance for those who don’t want it.

We played through the entire game during our Minecraft Legends review, and that includes finding out all of the settings. So, whether you’re hoping to play some Minecraft Legends multiplayer co-op with friends or getting frustrated while working towards the Minecraft Legends best upgrades, here’s how to switch off the text-to-speech.

How to turn off narrator in Minecraft Legends

You can turn off the text-to-speech narrator in Minecraft Legends by going to settings and turning off ‘text-to-speech’ in the Accessibility tab. The option can be found under the ‘Text’ section of the Accessibility tab. The setting can be activated when first launching the game, meaning you may accidentally enable it while starting Minecraft Legends.

Fortunately, this quick fix will disable that narrator, meaning you can head into the Minecraft Legends map straight after.

If you need to switch it back on, say if you have a friend or family member that this feature will benefit from, you can go back to the Accessibility tab in settings and enable it again. Just remember to go back and turn it off after they’ve left.
