Life Is Strange: True Colors brought back collectables within chapters, much like previous games in the series. This time, you can obtain memories throughout the game’s five chapters which can be collected and offer a new insight into parts of Alex’s past.
We loved Life Is Strange: True Colors, and in our review we were impressed by how well Deck Nine managed to cram the game full of moments that made up the human experience. Now, let’s get into the memories in Life Is Strange: True Colors, their individual memory locations, and how you can achieve some of the trophies and achievements tied to the collectables. Memories appear as various objects throughout Haven Springs that Alex can interact with using her power – this is achieved in the same way that Alex interacts with the auras of NPCs.

Life Is Strange: True Colors Memory Locations
Chapter One
The first Memory in Chapter One is the ‘Riley Letter’ memory. It can be found in Alex’s bedroom on her desk.
The ‘Crack’ memory in Chapter One is also found in the house Alex is staying in. Walk out of her room and down the hallway. You can find it next to the bicycle pump.
The next memory in the chapter is the ‘Business Card’ memory. It can be found once you reach the Black Lantern bar. Head behind the bar itself to pick it up from next to the PC.
The ‘Helmet’ memory can be found once you reach the mine. At the entrance, look behind both Ryan and Gabe to find it on the floor, just to the left of the entrance itself.
The final memory in Chapter One is the ‘Phone’ memory. It can be found in the mine’s building after Ryan helps you to open the metal door. The memory is just to the right after you and Ryan have opened the door.
Chapter Two
The first memory in Chapter Two is the ‘Rent Check’ memory. It can be found in the Black Lantern bar, behind the bar.
The second memory in Chapter Two can also be found in the Black Lantern bar. The ‘Umbrella’ memory is located just by the exit door.
If you head up onto the roof of the Black Lantern, you can find the ‘Button’ memory. It is at the end of the flower bed next to the barbecue.
The next memory can be collected at the Flower Shop. Head to the blue bookshelf in the store on the left side of the shop, to find the ‘T-Shirt’ memory sitting at the bottom of it.
Finally, Chapter Two holds the ‘Gummies’ memory, which is found in the Dispensary, at the far back of the backroom in the building.
Chapter Three
The third chapter in the game holds another five collectable memories. The first can be found in the Black Lantern. The memory is called the ‘Bomber Jacket’ memory and is found on the coat rack.
The next memory is the ‘Appointment Slip’ memory. This can be found right outside the front door of the Black Lantern, next to the splatter of blood.
The third memory is the ‘Old Paper’ memory which is found in the Black Lantern. As you enter the rear seating area, it can be found on a table to the left.
The fourth memory is the ‘Valkyrie’s Dish’ memory which is in the Record Store. It can be found on the floor between the counter and the guitar.
Finally, there’s the ‘Dollar’ memory. This memory only becomes available once you have collected the three jewels during the LARP. As you approach Charlotte on your way back through the park, the memory is on the ground.
Chapter Four
The fourth chapter of the game holds another five memories. The first in this chapter – the ‘Pressed Rose’ memory – can be found in Alex’s room, just above the small table.
The second memory in this chapter is in the main festival area. The ‘Drum Kit’ memory is on the main stage.
The next memory is the ‘Microphone memory’. It is also found in the main festival area, on the steps behind the back of the stage.
The ‘CIT Sticker’ memory is located by the flower shop. Go behind the shop to where the bridge is. On the back window, you can find the memory.
The final memory in this chapter is the ‘Polaroid’ memory. It can be found in the Black Lantern, just to the right of the back exit.
Chapter Five
The first memory in this chapter is the ‘Mom’s Keys’ memory. It can be found in the hospital next to the sink in Alex’s mum’s room.
The second memory is the ‘Business Card’ memory which can be found in Alex’s family home. It is located in the far right corner of the kitchen, opposite the fridge.
The third memory in this chapter is found in the Orphanage. The ‘Guitar Strings’ memory can be found in the second set of bunk beds on the left. It is located on the bottom bunk.
The next memory in Chapter 5 is the ‘Pendant’ memory. It is found in the old mine and is unlocked at the end of the section with Alex picking up the pendant automatically.
The final memory in this chapter, and the game, is the ‘Bomber Jacket’ memory. It can be found in Alex’s room on one of the small chairs by the fridge.
