League of Legends patch 13.7 jungler nerfs to shake up pro meta

The League of Legends patch 13.7 jungler nerfs will see top tier picks like Vi and Wukong take a hit to their power as MSI approaches.

March 29, 2023 The full patch preview has been added.

It’s not a stretch to say that the League of Legends jungle meta for pro play has been pretty stale so far this year. Now, developer Riot Games is looking to shake things up ahead of this year’s Mid-Season Invitational, with a slew of League of Legends patch 13.7 jungler nerfs.

According to the patch preview, Lee Sin Sejuani, Vi, and Wukong – four of the five most played junglers in pro play across the major regions this year, according to Games Of Legends – are all on the chopping block as Riot looks to promote greater diversity among the LoL ranks. To further help the cause, Graves is set to be buffed.

Alongside Graves, Alistar, Azir, Kalista, Katarina, Thresh, and Yasuo are all getting some love (maybe it’ll only be a 0-9 powerspike now for Yas mains). On the flipside, Annie, Olaf, Rammus, Veigar, and Zeri are in line to receive nerfs. Kha’Zix will be adjusted on the new patch.

There are a few items receiving changes – for better or worse – on patch 13.7. Abyssal Mask and Death’s Dance are getting a bit more pep put into their step, while Catalyst of Aeons is finally taking a hit to its power.

With plenty of promising changes in the preview so far, we can only hope that the tweaks to the numbers will do enough to give some of League’s most-utilised champions a rest. Though that’s not to say we would be mad to see Mun ‘Oner’ Hyeon-jun’s Lee Sin at MSI this year – provided T1 makes it, of course.
