A new League of Legends patch is upon us, and as part of it developer Riot Games has shared a big old list of changes coming to the hit MOBA game’s popular All Random All Mid mode. By the looks of things, the League of Legends patch 12.16 ARAM changes could make assassins scary again.
ARAM is a staple for many of League’s more casual player base. The mode may feature the same champions found on Summoner’s Rift, but they are balanced differently to fit the ‘no farm, only fight’ nature of its gameplay – very different from those LoL ranked games indeed.
Typically, developer Riot Games only touches the game mode every few months, with the last round of changes dropping with patch 12.10 back in May. This time round, there’s a lot going on, with a whopping 41 champions being either buffed or nerfed, alongside tweaks to some of the mode’s exclusive items. You can check out all the changes right here.
To give an example of what players can look forward to, assassins Akali, Diana, Evelynn, Kha’Zix, LeBlanc, Nocturne, Pyke, and Zed will all be simultaneously dealing more and taking less damage once 12.16 arrives.
Indeed, if you’re thinking about playing a squishy in the fight-filled game mode then you will want to make sure you have a teammate that can peel for you, else you might regret the decision.
