Ruination: A League of Legends Novel, sees the LoL universe expand into yet another form of media, and it's out right now for all you lore lovers

The League of Legends universe continues to expand into more and more forms of media, and the latest expansion is into the world of novels. Ruination: A League of Legends Novel is the book in question, and it is launching today for all you LoL lore lovers out there.

The novel, penned by author and Season 1 League of Legends player Anthony Reynolds, revolves around a number of popular LoL champions, namely Viego, Kalista, and Thresh. The plot follows Kalista trying to save the kingdom of Camavor from an out of control and grieving Veigo, the land’s ruler, by finding a cure for his sick wife in the Blessed Isles.

The book follows on from Ruined King: A League of Legends story, the turn-based RPG that was released on PC and consoles last year. If Ruined King and diving into the deep lore of League of Legends interests you just as much as climbing the LoL ranks, then Ruination sounds like it’ll be well worth a read.

Ruination is available as a classic hardcover book, as an electronic read on your kindle, or as a full-cast audiobook (this won’t be out until September 13, though).

So if a MOBA, a turn-based RPG, strategic spinoffs like TFT and Legends of Runeterra, various amazing music projects, and Arcane on Netflix isn’t enough LoL-inspired media to satisfy you, then it might be worth giving Ruination a go.
