The PS5 exclusive‘s difficulty settings might look confusing, but they are fairly standard. Story Mode allows you to make your way through the game on the easiest difficulty. How to unlock Master Spirit Guide difficulty in Kena: Bridge of Spirits.
Master Spirit Guide difficulty can be unlocked in Kena: Bridge of Spirits by beating the game on any other difficulty: Story Mode, Spirit Guide, or Expert Spirit Guide.
Once you have rolled credits in your first playthrough, this tougher difficulty will unlock for you to take on. Unlocking this difficulty is required to earn the platinum trophy, which we go over in our Kena: Bridge of Spirits trophy guide.
On Master Spirit Guide difficulty, you can expect enemies to deal out more damage and provide much more of a challenge than they did on the lower difficulties.
