High on Life, an upcoming chaotic first-person adventure game coming from crazy creative minds behind Rick and Morty, is coming to Xbox in October 2022. So, if you like Adult Swim’s wild animated series, you’ll be pleased to know that you won’t have long to wait for this one.
In High on Life, players undertake the role of a Bounty Hunter trying to help his trusty sidearm save his friends – who are also guns. So… Yeah, you’re going to be talking to your guns a lot in this game. But, that’s okay, because all the guns have strange alien-like faces akin to the creatures you’d see in the developers’ VR title – Trover Saves The Universe.
In the trailer, which was revealed during the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase, we got a great look at some of the gameplay – and an insight into the humour we’re going to be experiencing with this upcoming shooter. There’s one weapon that shoots out strange alien children that can complete tasks and interact with the environment around you – so, yeah… That should tell you all you need to know about this game.
