Rumored GTA 6 actor seemingly teasing Rockstar Games’ Vice City

Actor Bryan Zampella, who is allegedly appearing in GTA 6, continues to tease Rockstar Games fans on Instagram as hype increases for the open-world game.

GTA 6 Vice City tease

For the last decade we’ve been roaming around Los Santos, but the arrival of GTA 6 may take us back to some familiar sunny shores. The thrill of the GTA 6 release date grows momentum every day, and now Rockstar Games fans might need to prepare themselves for a forthcoming reveal. Rumored Grand Theft Auto 6 actor Bryan Zampella continues to sprinkle teases regarding the PS5 and Xbox title, and his latest Instagram Story post is definitely on the nose.

Following a series of GTA 6 leaks that surfaced last year, fans of the long-running franchise have theorized that Zampella is behind the playable protagonist known as Jason.

Though Rockstar Games is yet to confirm Zampella’s involvement with the game, a recent Instagram Story post from the actor appears to playfully nod to Jason’s appearance in the aforementioned leaks. While the Instagram Story has now expired, you can see a screenshot below, which shows Zampella in a grey tank top and a backwards, red and white cap.

Wearing this outfit in tandem with an iconic Vice City soundtrack song is definitely a very specific combination, but we’ll take it with a grain of salt in the meantime. Some GTA players are already making the comparison between Zampella’s likeness and the previous leaks, but we’ll leave it up to you to decide whether the likes of ‘xraygamer89‘ are on the money with that one.

Staring over an oceanic scene, Zampella also scores the post with Bryan Adam’s Run To You – which previously appeared on GTA Vice City’s Flash FM radio station.

While it could be just Zampella playing into the game’s hype in a bid to generate engagement with his Instagram page, this isn’t the first time that Zampella has alluded to his involvement with GTA 6.

The actor recently posted a similar tease on May 13, posing in a Tommy Vercetti-style Hawaiian shirt, with palm trees looming over him. Though the post was captionless, the comments are rife with avid GTA fans eager to get a definitive answer pertaining to Zampella’s association with the game.

Rockstar often collaborated with world-renowned actors in the franchise’s early period, with talents such as Samuel L. Jackson, the late Ray Liotta, and Miami Vice legend Philip Michael Thomas. However, over the years the developer has opted to stray away from Hollywood, instead working with actors lesser known in the mainstream. If you’re hoping that GTA 6 will appear at the upcoming PlayStation Showcase, you may need to squash that expectation.

Aside from the reveal of the GTA 5 Expanded and Enhanced Edition during Sony’s Future of Gaming event in 2020, Rockstar has long maintained control over the reveal of its titles. We all remember Red Dead Redemption 2‘s first trailer dropping in the middle of the night, after all. Both GTA 5 and RDR2 are mentioned alongside the best games ever made, so we’ll have to see whether GTA 6 can achieve the same reputation.
