EA’s GRID Legends is racing towards its release date and Game Pass subscribers will be able to vie for pole position with a 10-hour free trial from early next week. If you’re on the fence about this new racing game, this could be the perfect way to try before you buy.
GRID Legends is scheduled to release on February 25, with the Deluxe Edition of the game granting players three full days of early access to the title. From February 22, however, anyone with EA Play – which is included as part of your active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership – will be able to access a free 10-hour trial for the game too.
With over a hundred vehicles to race with and 130 track layouts to race on, GRID Legends is going to launch with a lot of content. Unlike its predecessor, GRID Legends is debuting a new narrative mode – Driven to Glory. Blending live-action cutscenes with gameplay, this mode is going to throw a blockbuster spin on the GRID series and the racing game genre as a whole.
Early reports suggest that GRID Legends’ Driven to Glory mode will take around 10 hours to beat. So, if you’re quick, you could actually finish this story in its entirety with the free trial on offer.
If you’re more interested in experiencing everything the gameplay has to offer, the GRID Legends Game Pass trial is giving players access to the full game. So, you can check out GRID Legends’ crossplay multiplayer before everyone else. Or, if you want to brush up on your skills before tackling other players, you can race against the computer – GRID Legends’ AI racers will be an advancement on GRID 2019’s Nemesis AI system.
Here's how it works 👇
1️⃣ EA Play members will get access to a 10-hour trial ⏱
