Scaramouche, or ‘Wanderer’ as he officially goes by in Genshin Impact, is undoubtedly one of the ARPG’s most exciting characters. If you’re intending to pull for him, or have already secured his services, then you’ll need to know the Genshin Impact Scaramouche materials, as well as where to farm them, in order to get the most out of him.

As part of the Genshin Impact Scaramouche build, the powerful Anemo user requires a number of high-end materials, as well as some of the more common resources that can be accrued from roaming the lush forests and sparse deserts of Sumeru. To max out the power of one of Scaramouche’s abilities, you’ll need the following Talent materials:

Scaramouche farming guide

Now that you know what you’re going to need to get Scara up to scratch, here’s our Scaramouche farming guide. Most of his materials can be farmed up across Sumeru, though there are some items which will need to be acquired from further afield.

Vayuda Turquoise

The Anemo Ascension Gems can be obtained through boss drops, crafting, and converting gems of other types.

Two weekly boss domains (Confront Stormterror and Joururu Workshop) and three normal bosses (Algorithm of Semi-Intransient Matrix of Overseer Nertwork, Anemo Hypostasis, and Maguu Kenki) yield Vayuda Turquoise.

At the crafting table, players can exchange three pieces of one tier of Vayuda Turquoise plus a small amount of Mora in return for a single piece of Vayuda Turquoise from the next tier up. For example, you can craft a Vayuda Turquoise Fragment from three Vayuda Turquoise Slivers and 300 Mora.

Finally, should you find yourself with plenty of one elemental Ascension Gem, then you can convert them at the crafting table into the Vayuda Turquoise equivalent. For example, a Vayuda Turquoise Fragment can be acquired by converting an Agnidus Agate Fragment and three Dust of Azoth.

Handguards

Handguards can be farmed from the Kairagi (Dancing Thunder and Fiery Might) and Nobushi (Hitsukeban, Jintouban, and Kikouban) enemies roaming the plains of Inazuma.

Only level 40+ mobs will drop Kageuchi Handguards, while Famed Handguards can only be obtained from level 60+ ones.

Players can also purchase the material from Paimon’s Bargains using Masterless Stardust.

Rukkhashava Mushrooms

Numerous Rukkhashava Mushroom locations can be found throughout Sumeru. However, the best spots to farm these are around Apam Woods, in Mawtiyima Forest, and to the southeast of Devantaka Mountain, underground behind the golem.

If you’ve been able to pull Tighnari on the Genshin Impact banner, his passive marks the mushrooms on the minimap.

Additionally, Ashpazi in Gandharva Ville keeps a small daily stock of Rukkhashava Mushrooms – five in fact – which can be purchased for 1,000 Mora each.

Perpetual Caliber

Perpetual Caliber is a unique normal boss drop from level 30+ Aeonblight Drakes. The boss is located inside a cave to the southeast of Devantaka Mountain. Players can access the cave from the waypoint at the northmost point of the mountain valley.

Talent books

Scaramouche utilises the Praxis books, which are obtained from the Steeple of Ignorance Domain. The Domain is located near Chatrakam Cave in Sumeru’s Lokapala Jungle.

Daka’s Bell

The premium weekly boss drop for Scaramouche, Daka’s Bell can only be acquired through combat from level 70+ instances of Joururi Workshop. Outside of that, players can convert either Puppet Strings or a Mirror of Mushin at the crafting table into one at the cost of one Dream Solvent.

Crown of Insight

In order to get each of Scaramouche’s talents to level 10, players need to offer up a Crown of Insight. Right now 10 of them are permanently available through the four Offering systems: Frostbearing Tree’s Gratitude, Lumenstone Adjuvant, Sacred Sakura, and Tree of Dreams.

Additionally, bonus Crowns become available from time to time during limited time events, such as Genshin Impact 3.2’s Fabulous Fungus Frenzy event. However, players will need to act fast in order to snag them, or risk losing the chance to acquire them forever once the event finishes
