Genshin Impact 2.8 is edging ever closer, and as always with HoYoverse’s hit ARPG it’s prime time for data miners and leakers to report anything and everything coming with the new version. Now, two Redditors have shared what could well be the long-awaited skins for two of the most iconic Genshin Impact characters in Diluc and Fischl.
Community leaker ‘Uncle DD’ reported back in February that the pair would be receiving skins, though it wasn’t clear at the time which Genshin version they would be arriving in. Since then, we have learned a lot about them. Last month, ‘UBatcha’ reported that Diluc’s skin will be called ‘Red Dead of Night’, and Fischl’s ‘Ein Immernachstraum’ – a potential reference to Shakespeare’s famous comedy, ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.
Based on reports from ‘Sagiri’ and ‘fewn8’, Diluc’s skin will cost 1,980 Genesis Crystals during the upcoming Summertime Odyssey event – check out more on that and everything else coming in the new version in our Genshin Impact 2.8 leaks guide – and 2,480 once it has finished.
Fischl’s, meanwhile, will be attainable for free during the event, and cost a cool 1,680 Genesis Crystals once it is over. You can check out the reported renders of the skins for yourself below.
Needless to say, both skins look incredible. Now those who ‘lost’ their 50/50s and ended up with a Diluc or seven can drip out the Dawn Winery owner in a skin that truly befits his Wolf’s Gravestone claymore. With Fischl also reportedly serving as the free character attainable from 2.8’s event, players should definitely aim to pick up the prinzessin’s fresh new look.
