Genshin Impact players are set to enter a brand new frontier when the hit ARPG’s 3.0 update arrives with brand new region Sumeru. After months of leaks and speculation, developer HoYoverse has officially announced the Genshin Impact 3.0 livestream time, where we’ll find out what’s really going on in the land of Dendro once and for all.
Taking to Twitter to share the news, HoYoverse says the Genshin Impact 3.0 livestream time will be at 05:00 PT / 08:00 ET / 13:00 BST on August 13. Fans will be able to tune in via the official Genshin Impact Twitch channel. During the stream, the developer promises “juicy details” about the upcoming version, as well as the usual suite of Genshin Impact codes that can be redeemed for those all-important Primogems.
And Primogems are certainly going to be needed, what with HoYoverse revealing three brand new Genshin Impact characters last month in Collei, Dori, and Tighnari. Based on recent leaks, all three could feature on the 3.0 Genshin Impact banner, so players should be looking to scrape together every last piece of premium currency they can get their mitts on if they want to snag one of these shiny new characters.
For those who do miss out on the Twitch stream, HoYoverse will be re-streaming the program over on YouTube at 08:00 PT / 12:00 ET / 17:00 BST. To get players hyped ahead of the Genshin Impact 3.0 livestream time, the studio has also dropped a promotional video for Sumeru.
We already couldn’t wait to step foot in Sumeru, but now we’re furiously counting down the minutes until the livestream arrives to give us all those spicy details.
