The first Forza Horizon 5 Secret Santa took place during FH5 Series 2, with two rewards up for grabs and the community tasked with getting into the Christmas spirit by sending gifts.
This Secret Santa event was the first Season-based event for Forza Horizon 5, taking place during the Christmas and Holiday weeks of 2021 from December 9, 2021, to January 6, 2022. This ran alongside the regular Seasonal challenges and championship events. In order to contribute to this event, however, you needed to send gifts to other players via the Forzathon Shop or the Gift Drop. These gifts could be cars, cosmetic rewards, outfits, and more.

Forza Horizon 5’s Secret Santa event can be viewed from the game’s Horizon Playlist menu when the event is active. During Series 2, it was located just next to the Series rewards on offer.

These two different rewards became available once players collectively hit certain milestones for sending gifts. While neither were all that incredible, they were certainly festive treats – and a great introduction to how this event structure would work going forward.

In Forza Horizon 5, you can gift cars and items from the Forzathon Shop when purchasing them when the event is active, using the ‘Secret Santa’ option.
