Since the release of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4, dubbed ‘the Marvel season’ by fans thanks to the fact it put the focus on Marvel Comics characters throughout the story and battle pass, players have been wondering if and when they will get the full roster of Marvel heroes and villains. While that goal is still far away, Fortnite now finally has the original MCU Avengers lineup available as in-game skins.
The release of the Hulk skin on December 9, 2022 has now made that possible. Thismeans that Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Iron Man, and the Hulk are all playable in the game. They’re not all in their original Avengers gear, but it’s still fun to think you could play with the core six.
Unfortunately, you shouldn’t hope to drop into Fortnite’s best landing spots with all of the Avengers anytime soon if you are missing some of the skins from your collection. Black Widow was last seen in the Item Shop over 1,300 days ago, while one Thor skin and Tony Stark (who has the Iron Man style) were locked to the Chapter 2 Season 4 battle pass. Hawkeye and Thor Odinson are part of packs that are likely to return, thankfully. Hopefully, new versions of the battle pass skins become available in the future.
Because of the scarcity of some of these skins, and the fact there has been over two years since Chapter 2 Season 4 and the release of Hulk, it’ll be an impressive feat if you’ve got the entire set.
It’s going to be exciting to see the Fortnite fandom recreate some iconic Avengers scenes in the near future. That being said, we wouldn’t expect any Avengers Infinity War or Endgame recreations just yet, as there’s still a few heroes to get in the Item Shop to finish up that roster of heroes.
