We’re sure that you all love new content in Fortnite, but sometimes those standard chests can feel a bit too small to fit items like the Shockwave Hammer in them. Fortunately, there’s a great addition to the existing chests with the new Fortnite Oathbound Chests.
These royal-like chests are populating some of the best landing spots in Fortnite, and possibly even the new Hot Spots in Fortnite too. However, they are harder to find than even the rare chests, meaning you won’t find them in large quantities. If that’s the case, where can you find these new chests?
Fortnite Oathbound Chests locations and where to find them
Oathbound Chests can usually be found in or near the castle-like structures across the Fortnite map, which are mostly situated to the West near POIs such as The Citadel or Anvil Square. These structures are indicated by their stone walls, woodwork, and occasional banners.
These chests hold a variety of items, such as Shield Potions and healing items, like any other Fortnite chests, but they usually contain the new Shockwave Hammer item or the Ex-Caliber Rifle. This is the easiest way to get either of these items aside from eliminating an enemy player who has them.
Now you know where to find them, you can go ahead and open up some of these Fortnite Oathbound Chests, but better get there quick before someone else does!
