21/06/2022 The new set of Naruto skins has been confirmed by data miners and is soon to be confirmed officially. The text of this article has been altered to reflect that.
In Epic Games’ hit battle royale Fortnite, players can always look forward to a new pop culture content collaboration – whether that’s a Pac-Man emote, an Among Us back bling, or in some rare cases a map POI (like this chapter’s Daily Bugle). If you’re an anime fan, you’ll be pleased to know that Epic Games’ collaboration with Naruto Shippuden isn’t over just yet. There are some new Fortnite Naruto skins coming to the battle royale with the “Rivals!” collaboration event.
Not too long after rumblings in the leaker community suggested that another Naruto collaboration was in the works, Epic Games tweeted a teaser confirming that “Fortnite X Naruto Shippuden” was on the way with the “Rivals!” subtitle. This has left many to believe that an interesting selection of characters are coming.
Epic Games’ confirmation of new Fortnite Naruto skins also came with a date – June 23, 2022. This is, as you might imagine, when players expect the new skins to be available by. Taking this into consideration, we should see more on the upcoming cosmetics on June 21 and June 22 – Epic Games doesn’t usually leave it too long.
As for the characters represented by the new set of Fortnite Naruto skins, there’s no confirmation of who we’ll get. However, Hypex has shared an image that would suggest the following characters are going to be included: Hinata Hyuha, Gaara, Itachi Uchiha, and Orochimaru.

If true, these characters will join Naruto Uzumaki, Kakashi Hatake, Sakura Haruno, and Sasuke Uchiha – all four of these were made available during the first collaboration between Epic Games’ battle royale and Naruto Shippuden.
Adding to this earlier revelation, data miners seem to have confirmed that the aforementioned characters are being added to the Fortnite Item Shop.
‘iFireMonkey’, a trusted source, has shared images of two new Naruto-themed Fortnite Loading Screens – which you can see below:

In addition to this, ‘ShiinaBR’ (another trusted source of Fortnite content) has shared images of what players can expect to pick up from the two new Fortnite Naruto skins bundles.

From looking at previous collaborations, we should see these skins and cosmetics made available as early as 16:00 PST / 19:00 EST on June 21 and 00:01 BST on June 22. This is when the Fortnite Item Shop usually refreshes.
