Who is the best Fortnite player right now?

As we head into FNCS Chapter 2 Season 5, many are debating who the best Fortnite player in the world is right now. This is less statistical than the previous entries in this guide, but here are a couple of players from the top regions of Europe, NA East, and NA West who go into Season 5 as arguably the best players.

In Europe, Tai ‘TaySon’ Starčič is widely dubbed as the best Fortnite player right now. The 16-year-old, who recently signed for Guild Esports, ended 2020 at the top of the EU rankings after winning back-to-back FNCS titles in Season 3 and Season 4.

In NA West, 100 Thieves’ Diego ‘Arkhram’ Lima stands out as a player in top form and is arguably the region’s best Fortnite player at the moment. Having won the Season 4 title, placed second the season before that, and ended 2020 at the top of his region’s rankings, Arkhram is definitely the one to watch in Season 5 from NA West.

While NA East is stacked with some of the biggest names in Fortnite esports, it’s incredibly hard to call which of them can be dubbed the best Fortnite player. The likes of Bugha, Leon ‘Khanada’ Khim, Cody ‘Clix’ Conrod, and many more are all crammed into the region, but none have really stood out as particularly dominant over the last couple of seasons.

Going off of a combination of 2020 rankings and placements in the last two seasons of FNCS, Bugha probably takes it.

As rankings change throughout 2021, we’ll be sure to update this section to let you know who the best Fortnite player in the world is.
