As is the case with many FromSoftware games, Elden Ring is tough as nails and you’re going to need as much help as you can get to beat the hardest bosses and journey through the Lands Between. One of the most critical features to success within Elden Ring takes the form of the healing flasks, which replenish either your HP or FP depending on which one you use. While there are items to increase the number of flasks you hold – and you can check out our Elden Ring Golden Seed Locations guide to find them – Elden Ring’s Sacred Tear consumables offer a different buff.
The Sacred Tear consumable item increases the potency of each flask you use, and luckily it applies to both HP and FP flasks equally. Just make sure to apply them to your flasks after you find them by resting at a Site of Lost Grace and navigating the ‘Flasks’ menu.
But where are these Sacred Tears I hear you ask? They can exclusively be found in the churches of the Lands Between, so make sure to read on to see the list of Elden Ring Sacred Tear Locations from early in the game so you can chug to your heart’s content.
Elden Ring Sacred Tear Locations
Here is a full list of the Elden Ring Sacred Tear Locations in the early game which can be found in churches scattered across Limgrave, Linuria, the Whispering Penninsula and more:
- Third Church of Marika Sacred Tear location
- Fourth Church of Marika Sacred Tear location
- Church of Pilgrimage Sacred Tear location
- Callu Baptismal Chruch Sacred Tear location
- Church of Irith Sacred Tear location
- Rose Church Sacred Tear location
- Bellum Church Sacred Tear location
THIRD CHURCH OF MARIKA SACRED TEAR location
Depending on which way you venture from the beginning of the game, the Sacred Tear in the Third Church of Marika will probably be the first one you stumble upon.
It is located in the northeast of Limgrave East, just north of where you find the Map Fragment. Like many of the Sacred Tears, it is located directly underneath the statue of Marika at the back of the church.
FOURTH CHURCH OF MARIKA SACRED TEAR LOCATION
Another Sacred Tear can be found at the Forth Church of Marika, located in the Weeping Peninsula, south of Limgrave.
The church itself is placed in between the Weeping Evergaol and Witchbane Ruins, so if you find them, you’re going to be very close to your next Sacred Tear.
CHURCH OF PILGRIMAGE SACRED TEAR Location
Found fairly close to the Forth Church of Marika, the Church of Pilgrimage is home to another Sacred Tear.
It can be found directly north from the Weeping Peninsula’s Minor Erdtree, in the north-most pocked of the area. Do be warned however that there are some foes nesting inside ready to surprise you, so don’t waltz in without your guard up.
Callu Baptismal Church Sacred Tear Location
This Sacred Tear can be found in the Callu Baptismal Church, just north of the path that leads down to Castle Morne. It is located next to a village of madness-induced enemies.
CHURCH OF IRITH SACRED TEAR Location
In theory, it could be a while before you get your Tarnished hands on the Sacred Tear within the Church of Irith, as it sits behind the game’s first legacy dungeon and ‘main’ boss.
Rose Church Sacred Tear Location
Inside the Rose Church, in the north-east of the lake in Luirnia, you can find a Sacred Tear in the bloodrot-filled lake.
Bellum Church Sacred Tear Location
In the far north of Luirnia, you can find the Bellum Church on the way to the capital. Here is another Sacred Tear.
So that covers all the Sacred Tear locations in Elden Ring. For more tips, tricks, and guides, check out our Elden Ring walkthrough which filled with helpful and useful location guides, boss guides and more.
